2016 Pinot Gris
Winemaker Notes:
Green pear, toasted almond, and sweet cilantro aromas. This is a light, mid-bodied wine has a nice thick texture with a rounded mouthfeel. The tannins are very smooth and the wine has flavors of honeydew and green pears throughout. The finish lingers long with some dill and lemon peel flavors.
Vineyard Notes:
Pinot Gris is very genetically similar to Pinot Noir, with only a color gene mutation separating the two. Our Pinot Gris comes from Filigreen Farm which is owned and operated by husband and wife team Stephanie and Chris Tebbutt. It is located about 2 miles North of Boonville, in the famed Anderson Valley AVA of Mendocino County. Filigreen Farm is certified Demeter Biodynamic and takes great pride in farming responsibly for future generations.
