2014 Campo di Blanca
A blend of 43% Marsanne, 33% Roussanne, 24% Viognier, our Campo di Blanca is notably our flagship white wine with its very complex nose and layering derived from each of its components. Roussanne contributes notes of honeydew melon and freshly cut herbs, while Marsanne contributes hints of marzipan and magnolia, and Viognier adds elements of honey and apricot. The palate is well balanced and shows roundness and texture for a long-lasting finish that is uplifted by crispness from the natural acidity.
Campo dos Robles (field of two oaks) Vineyard is Campovida’s estate Viognier block which is CCOF organic certified. The Bonofiglio Vineyeard is an organically farmed, seven-acre vineyard located five miles north of the town of Hopland. Both vineyard sites are located along the banks of the upper Russian River, where the gravelly loam soils provide ideal sites for growing worldclass Rhone white wines.
