Aged in neutral French oak for five months with lees contact and stirred once a month to increase mouthfeel.
Fermentation
Each lot was de-stemmed and berries lightly split into macro-bins. Juice allowed skin contact for 12 hours prior to pressing into a stainless steel tank for fermentation at 55ºF to dryness. No malolactic fermentation.

Harvest Notes
The 2013 harvest season followed the same pattern of excellent quality as the 2012 vintage. Winter brought with itself a vast amount of rain, followed by one of the driest springs and summers in a long time. Harvest commenced about two weeks earlier than average allowing for all grapes to be picked before the arrival of rain. In summary, 2013 was another amazing vintage, providing all elements to make outstanding wines with mature tannins and flavors and aromas that truly show a sense of place.
Vineyard Notes
Campo dos Robles (field of two oaks) Vineyard is Campovida’s estate Viognier block which is CCOF organic certified. The Bonofiglio Vineyeard is an organically farmed, seven-acre vineyard located five miles north of the town of Hopland. Both vineyard sites are located along the banks of the upper Russian River, where the gravelly loam soils provide ideal sites for growing worldclass Rhone white wines.
